Harvest High Tea

The Libbey House Foundation and Women of the Old West End will present a Harvest High Tea Sunday, September 28th. There will be three 90-minute seatings available: 11:00 AM*, 1:00 PM, and 3:00 PM. Enjoy your choice of delicious tea from an assortment of teas, tea sandwiches, and scrumptious desserts. Tickets are $40.00 per person through September 17th and are available for purchase at www.libbeyhouse.org

All proceeds go to preserve and maintain the Libbey House and support programs for the Women of the Old West End. The event is the perfect way to celebrate the fall season. Space is limited so purchase your tickets soon to reserve your place.

Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony

Please join us on Friday, December 1 at 4pm to kick off the holidays in the OWE Commons Park. (Robinwood and Bancroft) Tree lighting at 5:30pm.

Santa, Mrs. Claus, and their elves will be available for pictures with the kiddos. Refreshments, warm soup, and entertainment provided.

Please bring a dozen or two cookies to share.

Tours De Noel - Winter Fest.

The annual tree lighting will take place in the commons park on the corner of Bancroft and Robinwood on December 2, at 4:00 PM there will be a dedication of The Henry Doder Library and at 4:30 PM the festivities will start, including soup, warm beverages, cookies and gathering of friends and neighbors. Please come join WOWE starting at 4:00 PM.

Everyone is welcome - as always we have a great time baking and socializing. If you can't make it, consider baking a batch of cookies and donating them or make up the batter and we will bake them for our sale.

Children's Day in the Park

At the OWE Commons Park on Bancroft.

A petting zoo from the Toledo Zoo, Crafts, Games, Face Painting, Bounce Houses (One for the little ones and one for the bigger children), Kazoo Parade, Music, Free Books for all who attend. A Fire Truck & Firemen Police Dept. vehicle plus our own neighborhood Community Officer.

No need to make dinner... Jeanie’s Weenies will be here again with her hot dog costume (love it) and she will again have Mac & Cheese along with hot dogs, brats, beverages and much more. So anyone reading this can come to Commons Park for lunch or dinner too.

Volunteers are needed to assist Melody Brewer, Children’s Day Chair, for the Bounce House’s, Face Painting, Games, Craft Table. If you are able to give some time for this event please call or e-mail Melody: 419-944-4141 or melody.brewer@utoledo.edu
