The 52nd Annual Historic Old West End Festival will feature:
Friday Night Glow Roll (Bikes & Golf Carts) cruising through the Old West End at 9 PM. Start your Saturday with the 5K Run check-in at 7:30 AM, race begins at 8:45 AM.
Tour 5 Historic Homes and enjoy FREE LAND BANK HOUSE TOURS at 624 Delaware Ave. and 614 Virginia Ave.
Explore the Art Fair on the Toledo Museum of Art Glass Pavilion grounds. The Marketplace will be on Woodruff Ave.
Enjoy the Food and live Entertainment at 3 locations & Beer Garden at the Agnes Reynolds Jackson Arboretum. Garage & Yard Sales will span the entire Old West End.
Children’s Activities near the Marketplace / Art Fair and at Glenwood Park (Robinwood @ Collins St.) include Metroparks and TMA programs.
The King Wamba Carnival Parade begins Saturday at 10 AM. Celebrating its 116th year, the parade kicks off the weekend with art cars, floats, performance art, and music from across the Midwest. The Toledo Museum of Art front steps will host the coronation of King Wamba (Dave Kosmyna), and Queen Sancha (Christine Palmer). Our Grand Marshal is Dr. Ramona Collins, and Neighborhood Champion is Catherine Hernandez.
The Glenwood Park Bazaar “Ribs + Jazz, Rhythm & Blues” the best Backyard Bar-B-Q Ribs and classic R & B, & Jazz music at the festival! Located across from Glenwood School - Includes children & adult activities, line dancing, open mic karaoke, smooth oldies music with live entertainment and local retail vendors.
Donate non-perishable foods and hygiene items to the Equality Toledo Community Pantry; donation boxes will be located at info booths.
