Connecting Neighbors to Resources - Workshop

The first of several OWEA workshops implementing 2025-2030 OWEA Strategic Plan Priority 1- Neighborhood Planning, focusing on Strategy 1: Support homeowners to preserve and retain all houses within the neighborhood by promoting access to available city, county, state and neighborhood resources, is underway!

“Connecting Neighbors to Resources” will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at 11:00am at the Kent Branch Library. This workshop will help neighbors compare gas and electric rates through the Ohio Public Utilities Commission’s apples to apples site. Neighbors are asked to bring a copy of their most recent gas and electric bills (print or digital is fine). Computers will be available for neighbors to use to access the website and potentially sign up for better utility rates.

This workshop is for you if you want to learn how to save money on your gas and electric bills.
